Project STAR

Overview

Project STAR  (Support, Transition, Action, Recovery) is a community-based court program where advocates support individuals who are victims of crime, either currently or previously, and who have experienced sexual exploitation.

This crime may not have been reported to the police yet or may have an open police file and /or active criminal proceedings.

• Court navigation
• Emotional support
• Information about the criminal justice system
• Updates on court proceedings
• Referrals to community resources and services
