JOURNEY

Overview

JOURNEY is a high-risk youth program where we provide an enhanced spectrum of services for youth at risk of being sexually exploited. The relationship-based program is where staff meet with youth in the community or at their residence, providing support in a safe environment.

We recognize that the youth is in the driver’s seat, and our staff is journeying with them as they build up the youth’s community and provide opportunities for protective factors to be embedded in their lives. The staff establishes connections with resources in the community.

Referrals come from the Asikiw Mostos O’pikinawasiwin Society, which outlines a request for specific support services for the youth.
