Men Without Hats: Drop-in Group for Men
Community and Social Development, City of Edmonton
A weekly drop in group offered throughout the year for men who are dealing with relationship challenges, communication issues, parenting concerns, separation, divorce, job loss, etc. The goal of the group is to encourage men to explore influences in their lives and develop a greater ability to treat themselves and others with respect and dignity.
SOUTH: Mondays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
NORTH: Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Registered Groups for Men
In addition to weekly drop-in groups, the Assessment and Short Term Counselling team offer a variety of registered groups throughout the year. These include:
- From Chaos to Peace: a group for men who have experienced control, violence or abuse in an intimate partner relationship
- Men and Relationships Weekends: a program which offers encouragement and support to cope with current life crisis with a focus on developing a better personal foundation
- Men Talk and Do: a men’s group focused on personal well-being. This group includes open discussion and feedback from other men to assist you to develop a plan for personal health and self-care
